Happy you’re here! Time for a quick overview on all things Wiretap.
You may be wondering what Wiretap is? Happy to answer. Wiretap is a Chrome extension for Netflix. We created Wiretap so you can share and talk about your fave shows while you watch on your laptop or desktop. You’ll never have to binge watch alone again.
Here are some other things you’ll want to know about Wiretap:
- Click the Wiretap logo on the top right of your Netflix screen to see notifications, and what shows other people are commenting on – the trending shows. More on shows in a sec.
- If you need a little help, check out our FAQ and Code of Conduct.
- Join us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
If you haven’t already done so, be sure to download Wiretap from the Chrome Web Store store and sign in, on your laptop. (We’re not on mobile yet.) Then get watching and commenting.
Now, the shows. Get this – any Netflix show can be wiretapped. Of course, not all of them are…just yet. Don’t be shy – be the first to comment on any show you want.
To get a real sense of the experience of commenting and watching with others, we’ve put this list together of our most-commented shows so far:
- Stranger Things, The Punisher and Altered Carbon
- Glow, One Day at a Time and 13 Reasons Why
- Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Jessica Jones and On My Block
So get watching and commenting, and be sure to keep your eye out for badges.
Here’s your first pro tip: Comments you add during an episode stick to the moment you first click “Add your comment”, not to when you finish writing and send your comment.
We’re currently in Public Beta. That’s because we’re still learning from you, our users – what works, what doesn’t, and what else would be really fan-tastic to have. So if you have a suggestion, we’d love to hear from you .
Happy wiretapping!
